Ingredients
6 loin pork chops, 1 inch thick
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 cups 1 1/2 inch cubes of bread
1 tablespoon grated onion
1/2 cup minced celery
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sage
Preparation
Dredge chops in seasoned flour. Brown in drippings. Mix dressing ingredients lightly. Stand the chops in 9X5X3 inch loaf pan and distribute the dressing evenly between them. Insert 2 metal skewers in each end of loaf to keep it together. The handles will extend beyond the edge of the pan. Cover loaf with foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more. Let stand in pan for about 5 minutes.
