Ingredients
3 squares Baker’s semi-sweet baking chocolate
6 tbsp butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1.25 cups flour, divided
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup water
Glaze
3 squares chocolate microwaved with 2 tbsp whipping cream and 1 tbsp butter until melted. Stir and pour over cake
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Microwave chocolate and butter until melted. Stir until smooth. Stir in sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating between each addition. Stir in vanilla. Add 1/4 cup flour with baking soda; mix well. Alternate remaining flour with water, beating well after each addition. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch cake pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
