Ingredients

Garlic (3-6 gloves) (minced)

1 large shallot (minced)

yellow bell pepper

Balsamic Vinegar

Bacon

Brown Sugar

Green beans

Salt & pepper

Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

I start with cleaned and cut green beans. The thinner the better for this dish in my opinion.

Add some oil to a saute pan and add the green beans.

To the pan add the balsamic, the minced garlic and shallot. Add a large handful of brown sugar to the beans.

Do not cook completely. Just until they get a little coat.

Remove from pan and add to baking dish.

Add your bacon and bell pepper to saute pan. When done add to baking dish with beans and toss.

Pour in some more balsamic and then sprinkle with more brown sugar. Salt and Pepper.

Cover with the Parmesan. Once the crust is golden brown it’s ready to serve and plate.
