Ingredients

1/2 c. butter

1/2 c. shortening

4 eggs

2 1/2 c. sugar

2 tsp vanilla

3 1/2 c. flour

1/4 tsp. salt

2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 c. milk

1 tsp. lemon juice

2 1/2 c. bananas, mashed

1/2 c. nuts

Preparation

Grease pans. Pre-heat oven to 350. Beat shortening, butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix flour, salt, and soda in a separate bowl. Alternate mixing in milk (should be curdled from mixing it with the lemon juice) and flour mixture. Stir in nuts and bananas. Bake for about 35- 45 minutes

*Bigger loafs take about an hour.
