Ingredients

Flour

baking powder

baking soda

salt

3 good sized rotting bananas

two eggs

Crisco

sugar

Preparation

In a Medium Sized Bowl: 1 3/4 cup of flour 2 tsp of baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp of Salt Mix ingredients well (with a little spoon or something)

Preparation on the side Peel 3 good sized rotting bananas and mush them well on a plate with a fork In a small bowl, beat two eggs

In a Big Bowl Blend 1/3 cup Crisco with an electric mixer add 2/3 cup sugar then 2 beaten eggs (make sure it looks creamy) add little by little (to avoid powder cloud) the dry ingredients alternating with mushed bananas Mix till well blended

Put in WELL GREASED bread pan (by grease, I mean Crisco) Let sit for 20 minutes (important)

Side note: The batter is really good. Licking the left overs from the mixer prongs, spatula, and bowl is something your kids (or you) will probably like.

Bake at 350*F for 50-55 minutes

Now, I made this recently at my friend’s house and the oven took forever!! So, make sure you test the bread with a toothpick. (You stick the toothpick in the center and other places and the toothpick has to come up clean…if not, put the bread back in the oven)
