Ingredients

Measure into sifter:

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

¾ tsp salt

1 ½ cups sugar

1 tsp salt

Measure the following into mixture bowl

½ cup shortening ( grandma used spry or Crisco)- I would use butter

measure into cup- aside

½ cup sour cup (add tsp of vinegar to milk to sour it)

1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

begin by blending shortening on mixer. Add dry ingredients. Add ¼ cup milk and 1 cup mashed bananas after flour is absorbed. Mix for 2 minutes add 2 eggs and remaining mild and bananas and ½ cup chopped nuts. Beat 1 minute bake 375 in 9X13 pan for 40 minutes
