Ingredients
3/4 c butter
1 1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 c mashed bananas (about 3)
2 eggs well beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 c sifted flour
1 tsp. baking Soda
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 c buttermilk or sour milk
3/4 c chopped walnuts
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325. Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly. Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add to banana mixture alternately with butter milk, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Add nuts. Pour into greased, floured 9X5X3 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hour
