Ingredients

5 cups quick oats

1 1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup raisins, dried currents, or dried cranberries

4 tablespoons flax seeds (optional)

1 cup chopped dates

1 cup slivered almonds

4 tablespoons almond butter

1/1/2 cup applesauce

4 large smashed bananas

Honey or maple syrup (optional)

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Spread (pat) the “dough” evenly across bottom of an buttered or oiled 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. Drizzle honey or maple syrup if desired.Serve warm or let cool. Cut into squares.
