Ingredients

1 store bought or homemade loaf angel food cake or ½ large angle food ring, cut into 6 equal portions

¼ cup pineapple juice

2 cups fresh strawberries, halved

2 cupss fresh bananas, sliced thick

In a small bowl toss fruit with pineapple juice to coat.

Yogurt Topping

¼ cup non-dairy sugar free whipped topping

1 cup fat free frozen vanilla yogurt, softened

In a small mixing bowl, stir together whipped topping with yogurt until well incorporated.

Garnish

¼ cup low fat Chocolate syrup

6 Maraschino cherries, with stems

Construction of Sundae

Place a slice of angle food cake onto each serving dish, top with equal amounts of fruit, then a dollop of yogurt topping and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Don’t forget to top it off with a cherry! Enjoy a wonderful light dessert treat!
