Ingredients

1/2 cup olive oil

2 Tbs butter

4 cloves garlic, thru press

6 cups brussel sprouts, halved

2 -14.5 oz cans of chicken stock

Salt & Pepper to taste

2 Tbs freshly grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Preparation

-melt butter in olive oil over med-high heat in a large pan. -add pressed/minced garlic and lightly saute in butter/olive oil mixture -add halved brussel sprouts and sautee for about 2 minutes, just until browned -pour in the two cans of chicken broth, reduce heat and cover -let cook for about 5-7 minutes, until soft -remove from the stove, pour contents into bowl and add grated parm if desired
