Ingredients
1 cup ketchup - organic please.
1.25 cup honey
1/3 cup dark beer (anything, really)
2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1/4 tsp ground cumin (no need for fresh)
3 cloves garlic, diced.
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Preparation
- Mix ingredients in saucepan.
- Bring to low boil
- Continually stir, and let thicken until coasts back of spoon.
- Drain through siv, serve.
Should keep for a few weeks in refrigerator. Can freeze much longer, and thaw to room temp before using.
