Ingredients

3 tblsp catsup

1/4 cup vinegar

1/2 cup water

1/4 tsp pepper

2 tblsp sugar

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 tblsp mustard

1/2 cup oil

salt

1-3 lb. chicken pieces.

flour to dredge chicken

Preparation

Put all ingredients except for the salt and chicken in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Dredge chicken with flour and put in oiled 9x13 pan. Pour sauce over all the chicken. Bake @350 for 3 hours, turning several times, until nicely brown. (Can be left to bake, covered for the first long while, then uncover and let brown at the end. The sauce is very good on rice or potatoes. A favourite of the children.
