Ingredients
1 1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 large onion
1 cup barley
6 beef or chicken bullion cubes
4 cups hot water
1 lb. mushrooms
Preparation
Brown onion, mushrooms and barley in margarine. Boil water and dissolve bullion cubes. Add broth to other ingredients, stir and simmer for 30 minutes. Transfer into a cassarole dish, and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
