Ingredients
2 Tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
14 oz canned chopped tomatoes
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper
Preparation
heat oil in a pan over medium heat. add onion and fry 2-3 minutes or until transparent. add garlic and fry 1 minute. stir in the tomatoes, oregano, bay leaves, tomato paste, sugar, salt and pepper. bring sauce to a boil, then simmer, uncovered for 15-20 minutes. Cover on low until ready to serve.
