Ingredients

2 cups (500 ml) flour

2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar

1 tablespoon (15 ml) baking powder

1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt

1 3/4 cups (440 ml) milk

1/3 cup (85 ml) vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract

Preparation

Combine flour, sugar,baking powder, and salt. Stir together milk, oil, vanilla, and eggs. Gradually add milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until just blended. Pour batter onto waffle baker.

Makes 4 1/2 cups (1.125 L) batter.
