Ingredients

2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil

2 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup fresh currants

1 cup finely chopped walnuts

basil leaves and walnut halves

for garnigh

Preparation

blend all ingredients and refrigerate overnight to let flavors blend. Top spread with walnut halves and fresh basi8l leaves. Serve with assorted crackers
