Ingredients
Crust:
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp of vanilla
1 cup flour
Filling:
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
Topping:
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 cups peeled and sliced apples
1/4 cup almonds
Preparation
- Combine ingredients for crust adding flour last.
- Spread into 9 inch greased spring form pan.
- Combine ingredients for filling adding eggs and vanilla last. Pour over crust.
- For topping combine sigar, cinnamon, and toss apples in mixture. Spoon over chesse layer and spinkle with almonds.
- Bake at 450 for 10 minutes and reduce heat to 400 and bake for another 20-25 minutes.
- Cool before removing from pan.
