Ingredients

Crust:

1/2 cup butter

1/3 cup sugar

1/4 tsp of vanilla

1 cup flour

Filling:

8 oz cream cheese

1/4 cup sugar

1 egg

1/2 tsp vanilla

Topping:

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

4 cups peeled and sliced apples

1/4 cup almonds

Preparation

  1. Combine ingredients for crust adding flour last.
  2. Spread into 9 inch greased spring form pan.
  3. Combine ingredients for filling adding eggs and vanilla last. Pour over crust.
  4. For topping combine sigar, cinnamon, and toss apples in mixture. Spoon over chesse layer and spinkle with almonds.
  5. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes and reduce heat to 400 and bake for another 20-25 minutes.
  6. Cool before removing from pan.
