Ingredients
8 cups Sweet Baby RAy’s BBQ sauce or another molasses-based smoky bbq sauce
1/3 cup garlic powder
1/3 c coarsley ground black pepper
1/3 cup cajun seasoning
6-8 lbs brisket trimmed
Preparation
preheat oven to 240 degree combine the first 4 ingredients to make the sauce. Reserve 1 c of sauce. Place brisket in the sauce and rub vigorously. Transfer to sheet pan lined with parchment and cook for 18 hours or until meat is 175 degrees Remove and cool Slice and place in a foil pan, cover with reserved sauce and foil and freeze for 2-3 days Thaw in refrigerator for 2 days Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Uncover brisket and warm for 40 minutes
