Ingredients

Sauce:

1/4 finely chopped onion

2 T. oil

1 8oz. tomato sauce1/4 c. water 1 T. Worchestershire Sauce

1 T. brown sugar

1/2 t. oregano

1/4 t. rosemary

2 drops Tabasco

1/3 c. soy sauce

31/2 pound round steak 3 inches thick

1/2 t. per pound meat tenderizer

Preparation

Cook onion in oil til tender, do not brown. Add other ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes.

Tenderize steak as directed on bottle. Grill steak 2 inches from coals. Cook 25 to 30 minutes turning frequently for medium rare. Baste with sauce last 15 minutes. Cut in thin diagonal slices across the grain 30 degree angle from meat board.
