Ingredients

1 1/2 cups navy beans (Small White Beans)

12 cups water

Ham Hock or Shank

4 Carrots Chopped

1 Onion Chopped

8 Celery Ribs Chopped

1 Bay Leaf

2 Cloves Garlic

12 Peppercorns

8 Cloves

Preparation

Soak Beans for 24 hours & drain water.

Put Ham, beans & water in crock-pot - cook high for 2 hours.

Add remaining ingredients, cook on high 2 more hours, low 4 more hours.

Shred Ham at some point when it’s cooked.
