Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef

1 16 oz. jar salsa (thicker works best)

2 15 or 16 oz. cans kidney beans

1 15 or 16 oz. can whole kernel corn

1 8 oz. can tomato sauce

1 Tbs. chili powder + 1 tsp.

salt and pepper to taste

shredded cheese if desired

Serve with Corn Bread

Preparation

In 12 inch skillet cook ground beef with 1 tsp. of chili powder, salt and pepper to taste. Drain once brown. Stir in salsa, beans, corn, tomato sauce and chili powder. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to med-low.

Cover and cook for 15 - 20 min.

Sprinkle cheese over individual bowls.

Serve with Corn Bread.

Note: If you do not love meat you can use only a 1/2 lb. beef then a full pound.
