Ingredients

500 gm Diced Steak

2 Onions,Brown, Large Coarsley Chopped

4 Cloves Garlic,Chopped

Cracked Black Pepper (go easy, add a little, adjust at end)

Salt

2 Tbsp Flour

1 Litre Beef Stock or enough to cover meat

1 Cans Tomatoes, diced

3 Tbs Tomato paste

1.5 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

3 Bay Leaves

3/4 tsp Thyme,Dried, Spencers

4 Potatoes,Nadine, Medium Diced 2 Cm

2 Sticks Celery,Peeled, Cubed 1 Cm

2 Carrots,Large,Diced 1.5 Cm Squares

200 Gms Pumpkin, 3cm cubes

1 cup Peas,Frozen

Preparation

  1. Seal the meat in batches until nicely browned in casserole pot with a good amount of oil, remove meat and tip out excess oil.

  2. Add onion, garlic, herbs, pepper and flour, cook on low for a couple of minutes. Add tomatoes, paste, sauces, stock, bay leaves and veges and cook for 1.5 - 2 hours in the oven covered at 150 deg.
