Ingredients

4 lbs. ground beef

3 onions, finely chopped

3 green peppers, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

4 16-oz. cans Italian-style tomatoes

10-oz. can diced tomatoes and chilies

2 6-oz. cans tomato paste

1 cup water

1 Tbsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

3 whole cloves

2 bay leaves

2 Tbsp. chili powder

Preparation

  1. Brown meat, onions, and peppers in soup pot on top of stove. Drain.
  2. Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Divide among several medium-sized slow cookers.
  3. Cover. Cook on Low 3-4 hours.
