Ingredients

1 - 1 1/2 lbs tri-tip steak, either whole or cut into kebab sized cubes.

2 tsp dried oregano

2 tsp minced garlic

1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/8 cup red wine vinegar

Preparation

  1. Marinade the beef in all of the other ingredients for at least 2 hours.
  2. If making kebabs, skewer the beef. You can alternate the beef with chunks of vegetables like red bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, grape tomatoes, squash, zuccinni.
  3. Grill the steaks or kebabs to desired doneness.

Serve with white rice or pita bread, tsaziki sauce, and a greek salad.
