Ingredients

1 1/2 lb stew meat

1 t salt

2 T veg oil

1 can tomatoes

1 bay leaf

1/2 t thyme

1 c onion chunked

2 cut up cellery stalks

2 cut up carrots

4 peeled cut up potatoes

3 T flour

1/2 t pepper

1 c beef broth

1 clove garlic

1 T worcestershire sauce

1/4 t basil

Preparation

Flour meat and brown in oil. Add all but veggies & simmer 1/1/2 hr. Add veggies & potatoes and cook until tender.
