Ingredients
3 lbs uncooked top sirloin (or sirloin, new yorks, etc)
4 10z cans of cream of mushroom
16 oz (1 bag) extra wide egg noodles
10oz chopped mushrooms
12oz sour cream (should try light sour cream)
Garlic
Olive oil
Preparation
Chop meat into 1/4 inch thick strips Brown meat in olive oil (make sure to leave grease from meat in pan for sauce later) Salt/pepper as necessary Add water as necessary to “deglaze” the bottom of the pan Meat should pull apart easily Cover and simmer for 10-20 mins (softer meat, less time) Add mushrooms, salt and pepper, for shorter cooking time uncover to burn off liquid Add cream of mushroom (just need to warm) Add sour cream, turn heat off, continue to stir the sour cream
Cook noodles separately, 10 mins
