Ingredients
1lb Beef tips
1lb sliced fresh mushrooms
Olive Oil for pan
1/4 c. red wine
Onion Soup Mix 1 packet
1/2 c. water or beef broth
1 Tbs minced garlic
2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 Heavy Cream
2 tbs cornstartch (optional) with 1/4 cold water
Salt
Peper
Cooked egg noodles
Preparation
- Heat dutch oven with oil and add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook until they release moisture.
- Add Beef Tips and garlic. Brown with Mushrooms.
- Add wine and cook off a bit.
- Add Soup Mix, water and Worcestershire
- Cook low on stove, covered for 1.5 hours or until meat is very tender.
- Turn heat up and add cream. If it doesn’t thicken add corn starch.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles
