Ingredients

1 whole Chicken

Dry spice rub

16 ounce can of beer

Preparation

Start a BBQ fire with indirect heat and put a slpach can in the coals under where the chicken will go.

Wash a whole chicken and pat dry. Season inside and outside with any good dry rub according to your tastes. Lemon Pepper works just as well as anything.

Open a 16 ounce can of beer and drink half of it. Put the remaining half can of beer INSIDE of the chicken cavity, can and all. DO NOT SPILL THE BEER.

Set the chicken and can on the BBQ, can side down….close the lid and wait 90 minutes for the best chicken you’ve ever had.
