Ingredients

2 1/2 c flour

1 t baking soda

1/2 t baking powder

1 1/2 t salt

2 sticks butter

1 c sugar

1/2 c brown sugar

2 eggs

9 oz good quality bittersweet chocolate (chopped into chunks)

3/4 c (4.5 oz) dried apricots (quartered)

1 c (5 oz) dried cherries

1 c (4 oz) chopped pecans

squirt vanilla

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat sugar and butter together. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat in dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate, nuts, and fruit. Put heaping tablespoons of batter onto an un-greased baking sheet. Bake until golden brown about 12 mins.
