Ingredients

1 onion

1 tbsp butter

1 lb. of ground beef

1 lb. of ground pork

Salt & pepper to taste

Poultry seasoning to taste

6 or 7 potatoes - cooked and mashed

2 pastry lined pie tins

Preparation

  1. Cut up the onion and sauté until soft in the butter. Cook the ground beef and ground pork in the onion and butter until all the red has gone from the meat. Add the seasonings.
  2. Boil and then mash the the potatoes. Add the cooked meat and mix well. (Don’t over mix)
  3. Put this filling into a pastry lined pie tin. Cover with an upper crust.
  4. Bake at 425 degree F until pies are nice and brown, about 35-40 min.

Serve with turkey gravy.
