Ingredients

8 qts. air popped, pop corn

1 cup Butter

1/2 cup corn syrup

2 cups dark brown sugar

1 teas. salt

1 teas. baking soda

1 teas. vanilla

Preparation

Melt butter with corn syrup, brown sugar and salt. Boil over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Stir until foamy. Pour over warm popcorn. Mix well. Bake at 250 F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to coat. Spread brown paper over a large area, pour the baked corn over the paper and allow to cool thoroughly. Store in an airtight container.
