Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, mashed

2 eggs

1 3/4 cups unsifted all purpose flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/4 plus 1 tablespoon buttermilk

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

preheat oven to 325F. Spray loaf pan with nonstick spray. Combine first 9 ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Add chocolate chips. Put in loaf pan. (If batter is too close to top of load pan, remove some and bake as cupcakes.) Bake til top is golden brown, about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
