Ingredients
-1/2 pound extra lean ground chicken
-1/2 pound ground sirloin or extra lean ground beef
-1 small valdalia onion
-4 green onions
-4 clove of garlic
-1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
-1 tbs ground cumin spice
-1 tsp ground coriander powder
-1 tbs seasoning salt
-1/4 tsp paprika
-1/4 tsp finely ground black pepper
-2 eggs
-1/2 cup matza meal or fine bread crumbs
Preparation
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Allow to sit for as long as time allows (in this case ten minutes). Turn BBQ onto med-high. Form patties in the palm of your hand that resemble a football shape. Cook on one side for about 8 minutes, flip over and cook the same on other side. Cut into one patty to ensure meat inside is fully cooked prior to serving.
