Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter or margarine

1/2 cup sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 egg

1 package (12 oz.) chocolate chips

Preparation

Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Combine butter and sugar, beat until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; beat until smooth. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Place chocolate chips. Place cookie dough by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheets 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 for 8 - 10 minutes until browned. Remove cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
