Ingredients
1-cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) butter
2 eggs
1 ¼ teaspoon vanilla
2-½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups (16 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat oven 300F. · Sift flour, baking soda, and salt.
· Cream butter and sugars till well blended. Scrape sides down. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Blend well.
· Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture at low speed just till mixed. DO NOT OVERMIX. Stir in chocolate chips.
· Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 22-25 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer immediately to a cool surface. *If you want smaller cookies, cook 15-20 minutes.
