Ingredients
Mom’s Not-So-Secret Chocolate Chip Cookies
2/3 cup Crisco
2/3 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
3½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 (12-ounce) bag chocolate chips - use MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS-NOT SEMI-SWEET
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
Mix first 7 ingredients (I use my hand mixer with the wide stems), then add the flour and baking soda and mix, then add the nuts and chips and squish them in.
Make them large (just plop down on baking sheet-don’t roll or squish) and bake @ 350 for about 9-11 minutes.
