Ingredients

2 sticks unsalted butter

3 1/3 Cups flour

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 Cups packed brown sugar

1/2 Cup sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

2 large eggs

2 large egg yolks

1 (12-oz) bag semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  1. Melt butter in large bowl (set aside to cool off).
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Beat together butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  4. Using an electric mixer on medium speed beat in the 2 eggs then the 2 egg yolks.
  5. Reduce the mixer speed to low and slowly add in the flour mixture.
  6. Add in chocolate chips.
  7. Bake on cookie sheep with parchment paper
  8. Use an ice cream scoop to make balls

Bake for 17 to 20 minutes Let cookies rest on baking sheet for about 10 minutes then use a spatula to lift them.
