lb ground beef

tablespoons Old El Paso™ Thick ’n Chunky salsa

tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2

teaspoon garlic salt

1/2

teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1

medium avocado, pitted, peeled and cubed

teaspoons lime juice

2

teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro

1/4

teaspoon salt

4

slices (1 3/4 oz each) Cheddar cheese

4

burger buns, split

Preparation

Heat gas or charcoal grill. In medium bowl, mix beef, 2 tablespoons of the salsa, the Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and pepper. Shape mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

In small bowl, mash avocado with fork until chunky. Add lime juice, cilantro and salt; mix well.

Carefully brush oil on grill rack. Place patties on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160°F. Place cheese slices on patties during last 1 to 3 minutes of cooking time. Add buns, cut sides down, to grill for last 1 to 2 minutes of cooking time, until lightly toasted. Place one patty on each bun bottom. Top each with 2 tablespoons avocado mash and remaining 1 tablespoon salsa; replace tops.
