Ingredients

1 lb egg noodles

10-12 eggs

5 heaping teaspoons sour cream

3/4 to 1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons vanilla

1 tablespoon baking powder

2 tablespoons kosher salt

juice of 1 lemon, strained

1 large can fruit cocktail, drained

1 stick sweet butter

Preparation

preheat oven to 325F Warm pan and butter. Par cook noodles. Combine everything but fruit and butter to make custard. Pour excess melted butter from pan into mixture. Add fruit. Add this mixture to noodles. Bake for 1 hour.

Variation: eliminate sugar, vanilla, lemon and add: 1 lb. mushrooms, 2 large sweet onions and green pepper
