Ingredients

Beef - thin slices

2 onions diced

1/2 can tomatoes

Garlic

Salt

Pepper seeds

Chilli powder

Illachi (4)

Cloves (4)

Cinnamon stick (1)

Yoghurt

Preparation

  1. MARINATE meat in Yoghurt, Salt, Chilli powder and garlic overnight;

  2. FRY onions with oil; Once brown, add cloves (4); pepper seeds, cinnamon sticks (1), ilachi. Fry these with onions for a couple of minutes but don’t let it burn;

  3. ADD marinated meat with the yoghurt into the onions and add 1/2 can tomatoes and some garlic;

  4. Cook for around 1.30 hours and until ready. The beef should be soft. While cooking do not stir too much or the meat will split.

Serve with rice or with Khadi and rice.
