1 cup white flour
1 cup wheat flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup cream
2 tsp. butter
1 tsp. melted butter
Gravy
1/2 lb. sausage meat
3 Tbsp. white flour
1 3/4 cup milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Preparation
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine milk and butter; stir into dry ingredients just until blended. Drop by tbsp. onto greased baking sheet or muffin tins Bake @ 450 deg. 10-12 mins. or until brown. 2) Meanwhile, in a saucepan, cook sausage on med. heat until no longer pink. Sprinkle in flour, stirring, until workable. cook for 1 min. stir in salt and pepper. serve over hot biscuits.
