Ingredients
Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup suger
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips (mini chips for mini muffins)
1/4 cup sliced almonds
sugar for tops
Batter:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tbl vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Mix filling ingredients together except chips. When blended add chips.
Mix all batter ingredents until moistened the beat on med high speed for about 2 mins.
To assemble fill paper lined muffin pan 2/3 full with batter. Drop a table spoon of filling mixture top each with sliced almonds and a dusting of sugar. Bake at 350 for 30-35 mins. If making mini’s adjust time
