Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup soft shortening

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

2 cups flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

2 cups fresh blueberries

Crumb topping:

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup flour

3/4 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 cup butter (softened)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugar, shortening and egg together. Stir in milk, flour, baking powder and salt. Fold in fresh blueberries. Pour into greased 9" pan. Spread crumb mixture over batter. Drissle 2 tbsp. butter over batter and crumb mixture before baking. Bake for 50 mins.
