Ingredients

1 pkg won-tons

1 package cream cheese

1/2 bag frozen blueberries

4 lemons, sliced paper-thin, seeds removed

1 1/2 cups sugar

oil for frying

Preparation

Filling: Combine cream cheese, blueberries and zest of one lemon in a bowl.

Sauce: Combine the lemons, sugar, and 1 cup water over medium heat. Cook until quite soft and bubbly, about 20 minutes.

Place a small mound of filling in the center of one won-ton. Dab a bit of water on all the exposed sides and top with another won-ton. Drop into hot oil and fry until crispy and golden. Serve with lemon sauce.
