Ingredients

1 c. whole grain rice

1 2/3 c. water

1/2 tsp salt (optional)

Preparation

1.) In a covered sauce pan, bring water and salt (optional) to a boil.

2.) Add rice, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins.

3.) Remove from heat and let stand for 3-5 mins.

4.) Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
