Ingredients

8 c water

1/4 c sliced onion

1 clove garlic

1 bay leaf

2 celery stalks with leaves

Little salt

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

1/2 lemon with peel, sliced

3 lbs shrimp

Preparation

  1. Simmer all but lemon and shrimp for 10 minutes.
  2. Add lemon and shrimp.
  3. Cook shrimp until pink.

Serve with cocktail sauce
