Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

2 cups sugar

3/4 cup light Karo syrup

1/2 cup butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Place sugar, syrup, butter and 1 cup of cream in a heavy saucepan . Stirring constantly bring to a Rolling boil, add remaining cream gradually so boiling does not stop. Cook over low heat stirring frequently until thermometer reaches 248 degrees Fahrenheit. Stir in vanilla and pour into buttered 9" x 9" square pan. Cool overnight and cut and Wrap in wax paper.
