Ingredients
1 c chopped pecans
bourbon for soaking
1 # confectioners sugar
1/4 # butter
1 Tbs bourbon
coating
1/2 box unsweetened chocolate
1/4 bar parafin
Preparation
Put pecans in jar and cover with bourbon, let soak for 2-3 days. Mix butter and sugar with hands. Drain pecans and then combine with sugar/butter mixture and 1 Tbs bourbon. Form into balls, place on wax paper on cookie sheet. Refrigerate balls for at least 2 hrs. Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Add parafin to chocolate. Dip balls in chocolate, turn to cover, remove w toothpick quickly before they begin to melt. Return to refrigerator. Place in covered container, store in refrigerator. Enjoy
