Ingredients
6 oz chocolate, chopped or in chips
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbs. light corn syrup
1/3 c. bourbon
7 1/2 oz vanilla wafers, finely crushed
1 c. finely chopped walnuts or pecans
Small dish of sugar for coating
Preparation
Melt chocolate. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and corn syrup. Blend in bourbon.
Add nuts and cookie crumbs, and mix until well combined. Quickly form into 1" balls and roll in sugar.
Let ripen for a few days.
