Ingredients
~8 oz Maker’s Mark Bourbon
~4 tsb powdered or extra-fine sugar
~CUBED Ice
~16 Mint Leaves (2 leaves for every ounce of bourbon)
~12 oz club soda
~1/2 Wedge of Lime
~1 dab of hand lotion
(Alternate recipe: substitute mint leaves & club soda with Trader Joe’s Sparkling Mojito)
Preparation
Wash mint leaves, pat dry and put them in a small mixing bowl. Cover with 4 ounces of Maker’s Mark Bourbon, 2 tsp powdered sugar and crush mint leaves. Fill julep cups (10-12 oz., preferably silver but glass will do) with cubed ice and insert a fresh mint sprig. Add Lime Put hand lotion on to moisturize your soft, girly hands
